 Prayer Requests:Praise report on the effectiveness of prayer

| Some people who attend the church where I go each Sunday recently had a nephew who was in a very bad accident. He rides motorcycle and always wears his helmet. Not one of those that barely cover the top but one that has it all.
He was going the speed limit and so was the young man who hit him. Many bones were broken including the nephew's skull. In the ICU his brain would swell and his lungs would fill with fluid. The doctors were very concerned because brain swelling is to be avoided at all costs. They would drain his lungs and the brain would swell, they finally took out the frontal part of the brain. This is the portion that deals with memory and other fine things. The surgeons said he would be like a baby should he live. This went on for a time and then it got so bad that the family decided to let the doctors pull the plug on all life support mechanisms. One day passed and he was breathing, second day, third day, still breathing. On the ninth day his eyes fluttered open. He had ability to speak and could recall the family names for everyone who came to his bedside. He remembered the accident. Someone asked the doctor, "what do you make of this?" The doctor said, " There were many people praying for this man and sometimes God says "yes", this is truly a micacle, This young man has many broken bones that need to be healed before he can go home to his wife, but one day he will go home. He has two children one is fairly new born. This man was not saved at the time of the accident and I believe that God said "yes" so He can be glorified in the salvation of this man and all who experienced this miracle and had not known Christ. Please, pray that these people recognize the power and mercy of God and they ask Christ into their hearts. Saltnlight4 |

Father, I know that you are the creator of life, the One who also breathes life into us and who answers prayers in the forms of miracles. How awesome it is that You have saved this man that he is given another chance and strong evidence to believe on the One True God. Father, You name this man, You love this man so much that You gave Your life for him and I oray Father that he accept the love you have already paid so preciously for. You Father are so great and so wonderful, and I thank you that you have equipped us with the powerful tool of prayer and in the heart of a believer, You will is done. In Jesus name I pray, and to Your holiness I submit all that I am Father. Amen. |
