Prayer Requests:
I need your prayers for my mom


My mother is such an interesting person, she's got so many talents and such a strong will/personality. She's also extremely stubborn. A long time ago the church rejected her belief that God had given her the gift to prophesy. Because of this she left the church and claims that she has found "Her religion" and that God is allowing her to use her gift of prophesy through psychic abilities. What she uses to exercise her beliefs are horoscopes and tarot cards. I know, through my own personal relationship with Jesus that this is not right. In fact, because of my brother and I's safety--we see less of my Mother.(my parents are divorced) I have tried to do my duty as a Christian to witness to her, but for years she has claimed that her religion is better. I now know that argument is not what she needs...she needs prayer. I know that God hears my prayers, but I care for my mother's wellbeing so much that I would like it if somehow you could pray for her too. And if you may have any other suggestions on how to deal with this I would really appreciate it. Thank you so very much!

It is true that using horoscopes and tarot cards are not in line with God's ways. Perhaps the Christian bookshop may have books written on this, for your mother to read. Above all, it is also true that prayer is a powerful tool Christians can use. Let's pray. Lord, I lift up Brianne's mother in your hands. Father, You know the efforts that Brianne has put in to try and convince her mother to change her ways, and yet she still thinks her ways are right. Lord, You love Brianne's mother more than anyone else could. We ask that You will somehow open her eyes and help her to see the futility of her ways. Eliminate her circle of friends who seek to draw her further from You, but bring Your children to her to influence her to Your ways. Hear our prayers, Lord. IN Jesus' Name, Amen.

Lord, right now lord I just lift up Brianne's mom to you lord. I thank you lord for Brianne Lord, that she loves her mother so much lord that she is asking us to pray for her lord. I pray you use Brianne to show your love to her mother, if it is your will to use her. Lord I ask that you just take care of her mother lord, place a burden on her heart that causes her to see you, to realize you are the one true God, and the only true religion is to worship you. I pray she finds you lord, and that you watch over her throughout her life lord, so that one day she will realize your love for her. Lord just let your will be done in her life and Brianne's as well. I pray you take over the situation Lord, guide it with your love. In your holy name I pray, Amen.
