   Prayer Requests:
        Testimony

Praise the Lord, Saints and greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

I Just want to share my testimony of God's delivering power during a robbery on Sunday. To God be the glory!

On several occasions, I've dreamed of being robbed, and during the robbery I was casting demons out of the robber or praying in the Holy Ghost to rebuke the robbing spirit. I would either awake speaking tongues or rebuking Satan in the "NAME OF JESUS." I often wondered if I was confronted with a robber or perpetrator in a real life situation how I would react. Well Sunday, May 28th, the real life situation was there right before my eyes. I couldn't believe. But, my awesome God brought me out just like he did in the dreams.

The attendant in the Nail Salon was putting air brush on my nails, and I was just about ready to leave the salon. Suddenly, one of the other attendants begin speaking to him in his native language. I turned around and I could not believe my eyes. There was a man dressed in all black with a mask holding a gun in his hand. He demanded the money from the register. He commanded that no movement take place.

One lady as she saw him approaching ran and laid on the floor. He commanded her to get up and give him her money. She obeyed. He went to the back and demanded the wallet of another man. The man told him, "I don't have my wallet." The robber then went over to the other group of ladies. He by-passed me completely.

At first, I didn't know what to do. The spirit of fear begin to engulf me and didn't know whether I would make it out alive because he was pointing the gun and making demands. Then the Holy Spirit prompted me to go into prayer of intercession. I begin to pray in the Holy Ghost in a low voice. As I was praying in the Holy Ghost, I looked at the robber in the eyes. I looked at him and he looked at me. Our eyes were fixed on each other. All of a sudden, he forgot about everybody else and walked closer to me. I raised my hand as if to demand him to stop (I didn't remember this part someone else told me that I did that). He got about half way and stopped. He elevated the gun towards me head and aimed it at my forehead just between my eyes.

That shocked me (my flesh). But, the Holy Ghost continued to speak through me and to stare directly at the robber. As he held the gun to my head I wasn't afraid anymore (God is Jehovah-shalom - my peace), for I knew that:

1. The Omnipotent, Almighty, God (El Shaddai) is in control - The battle belongs to the Lord – [2 Chronicles 20:15, 17]
2. No weapon formed against me shall prosper – [Isaiah 54:17 3].
3. Greater is He (Jesus Christ) that is within me than he that is in the world – [1 John 4:4]
4. If this earthly tabernacle shall be desolved, I have another building not made by hands, eternal in the heavens – [2 Cor.5:1]
5. If God be for me who can be against me – [Romans 8:31]
6. Absent from the body means presence with the Lord – [2 Corinthians 5:8]

I was in a "WIN, WIN SITUATION".

The robber stood there for a while with the gun pointed towards my head for a few seconds or minutes staring at me and the Holy Ghost (still speaking) starring back at him. The robber then turned and fled through the back door from which he had entered.

Praise the Lord for his delivering power. God never lets his people down. He is Jehovah-Nissi (my banner). He is my shield and protector. God is a present help in time of trouble. Man's extremity is God's opportunity to show up.

When the police arrived, one them said that the suspect had robbed this place before, and fired a shot during his last robbery. I don't usually go to that particular salon. I wasn't planning on going there on Sunday evening. The place where I had intended to go was closed. I, then, decided to go to this one. I just believe that the Lord had me in this place for a reason. I don't know exactly what the thief had in mind. I know that after he robbed the salon, he didn't leave right away. He appeared to get a thrill from staying there harrassing the attendants and clients. I thank God for sparing my life and the lives of the others present in the salon. Yes, Jehovah-shammah, God is and was there.

When I awakened Monday morning, I was thankful more than ever for life. I thought to myself, "I'm alive". Yes, I am alive in more ways than one. I have eternal, abundantly life through Jesus Christ. You know, when I arose this morning, I didn't have NO DOUBT. I Know the Lord will TAKE CARE OF ME! PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE HAS DONE!

The Lord deserves to be glorified in all situations, but especially so when He has delivered us out of a situation, that only He could .

I REJOICE IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION

Have a blessed day!

In Him, Dolores
