Pray for a friend who accidently may have come in contact with HIV


Hello Everyone! I received an e-mail from a friend who received the following e-mail from a relative of theirs. This person is not known to be saved. So, this is a two part prayer request: 1) Pray that there is not any HIV in this persons body. 2) Pray for her salvation! Thanks Hi, I had the unpleasant experience of being stuck with a dirty needle today at work. The child was a 6 yr. old from Liberia, who had been in the US only 5 months. She was not properly immunized for Hepatitis. Although she seemed nice and healthy, the HIV incidence in Africa is currently 85% of the population. The child's mother consented to her being tested for HIV. I went to the clinic for my own baseline HIV and Hepatitis screens. I have had my immunizations for Hep B. so that is most certainly not a concern. However, with the overwhelming number of women and children testing positive for HIV in Africa, I am indeed worried. I don't know that I have every asked for prayer from anyone, but I am tonight. I will keep you all posted - I receive my hepatitis results in 5-7 days, HIV baseline (which I know is negative due to a recent unrelated test) is available in 2 weeks. I will have 2nd and 3rd testing done within the next 3-6 months. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers.

Father, in the face of death, not many refuse to cry out to you. I pray for this person, that you would bring healing to his soul and spirit. That he would bow the knee to you, and that he would repent and turn to you. Father, bring healing to his body, and to all those who know him, may they recognise the mighty hand of the living God upon him.I ask this through the powerful name of Jesus.
