You know one thing that I have learned, sometimes when people leave and if they can find the heart to leave ... they just don't care anymore. I'm not sure whether this is the same for your ex-husband and I dare not generalise.

I just want to say that sometimes we hurt a lot because we want them to care and expect them to care but we can't find it. Everyone has a free will and I believe that you should just move on and plan a good life for you and your children whether or not your ex-husband shows you any care. Sometimes I still expect my ex to show me some care but I've moved on because it's just not coming. However, things may be different with you.

Continue to pray for him but do not hurt any more or expect too much from him anymore. Many times we hurt because our expectations are not fulfilled. If he has a change of heart and comes back, rejoice. If not, just shake the dust off your feet and move on.

Father in Heaven,

I lift up this guest to You. I pray that You help remove any kind of misunderstanding and I pray that You will send the right people to her ex-husband to encourage him to do the right things. I pray for her children that they will just grow stronger from this experience and you will teach her how to become both a father and a mother to her kids at this time.
