Prayer Requests: Prayer for my marriage |
I am 20 years old, my husband is 21. We have been having a difficult time together. We have only been married 11 months, and seperated 4 of those months. We are trying to work everything out, and are really wanting to move back in together. The devil is really attacking us right now. My husbands car broke down and needs a new engine, and there are many other finacial diffuculties. I am living with my family, but they said that he can't move in with them. He is living out of a bag, going from friend to friend, or staying in a motel. Also, I am pregnant and the baby is due in April, I am really wanting us to be back together and stable. He has some legal issues and credit problems that is putting a big strain on us right now. Please pray for us. The devil is really trying to tear us down, and has gotten both of our spirits down. We are both christians, he just made some bad decisions in his past and the devil is really using those against us. Thank you for your pray. Hillary | |

Dear Father, I pray for this young couple and ask that you annoint them with your peace and love. Fill them with your holy spirit and bind them together so that no one or no thing can tear them apart. Also bless them with your wisdom and I also pray that you would protect the young life growing inside this young mom. Help both of these parents as they prepare to take on this new and challenging role. In Jesus name, Amen |

I want to start by saying it is not God's will for divorce in a marriage that doesn't involved adultery, but you probally already know that. I'm reponding to your prayer request because just last night I was talking to a sister in Christ and we were talking about our first years of marriage. She and I were both talking about how incredibly difficult it was and how tempers were out of control etc. I just wanted to let you know that most marriages start out that way and it will get better, as you and your husband learn how to give and take. When you learn what to do and not to do and when to do it etc. I'm no expert but I will say this I'm now happy and confident in my marriage and you two will be too. Stick to each other and talk things out. I feel it important even though I don't know all the details, that you two try to get back into a place of your own. I feel you need time to grow together not apart. |

Father God I come in Jesus's name for Hillary and her husband. I ask you to give these to young people wisdom and knowledge that is beyond their years. Father give them wisdom and knowledge that only you can give. Send couples into their lives that can help them navigate life. Father you know in order for us to get to where you want us to be we have to use your sons and doughters in Christ who have already traveled down the path we are now embarking on. Father send this fine Christian couples the help they need. Father put a brother(s) or sister(s) in their life-send someone or more than one who can help them financially to get ahead. We know Father God that we are to be the head and not the tail, we are to be above and not beneath. Father we as your son and daughters in Christ are not supposed to be struggling with our finances, sometimes we makes back choices that cause us consequences that are not good. Father bless Hillary and her husband financially, physical and Spiritually that they may be a blessing to others as long as they walk this earth. In Jesus name we pray-Amen |

Father God in Heaven I know you hear the prayers of your children and I know you know the situation Hillary and her husband are in, I pray dear Lord you will send strength, comfort and guidance that they may seek refuge in you Jesus. I pray dear Lord in agreement with them that the devil will flee their lives in the most powerful name known to man, that is the name of Jesus Christ. That they may re-build their marriage on the solid rock of God and their baby will be born in a stable christian home filled with love, peace and joy. We know Lord trials will come, for if there are no trials and valleys how can we appreciate our time on the mountain top. It is at no other time in our lives than when we are down and discouraged that we look to you more than any other time help us Father to praise you for the roses and thank you for the thorns of life. That we may better serve you with greater faith! Send your Holy Spirit to this home that through you they can literally kick that devil out of it and give you the praise you deserve. Help those around them to see Your love through these two lives. In Jesus name we pray. AMEN |
