| My friend has been married to her 3rd husband for 3 years or so and has wanted so despirately to give him a child of his own. She has 3 sons by her first husband and he has 2 adopted sons by his first wife, but none together. She went to the doctor to find out why she wasn't conceiving and found out she had endometriosis...a severe case. The doctors operated and gave her an 80% success rate. Well, normally that would make anyone happy, but now that her sister is pregnant and just found out that the baby is a girl...well, lets just say my friend was heartbroken. She is happy for her sister, but is in anguish over the continued failure of not getting pregnant and is also anguishing over the fact that she has always wanted a girl, and never had one. She was prophesied over and God said that she too would be with child and soon be sharing maternity clothes with her sister, but due to the fact that every month is a let down, Im afraid her faith is a little shaky. She needs prayer for her faith and continued strength and belief that God will keep His word. He never lies.And if God said she will conceive, she will! After she cried on my shoulder, I tried to make her understand that if she continually doubts that she will have another one...God could take it as a sign of lack of faith and not let her have another one. She keeps saying "What if..." I told her to keep the faith and I am really believing that it will be this month, however, I am asking for prayer for faith, knowledge of faith, comfort and restored hope. Thank you so much!! |
