Susan,

I have some words for you. At times it seems that we are getting the shorter end of the stick, that God doesn't care. You know what? He does. He has promised us that He will never leave us or forsake us. That He loves us. That He has a covenant with us which He WILL fulfill.

I have the following verses for you. Meditate on them and keep them close to your heart and never give up trusting God because He never gives up on us:

[Psalm 37:3-5]
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

This is also God's promise to me. Even when situations seem bleak, I hold on to His promise and I tell Him, I'm going to trust You Lord and go on trusting You because I know that You are faithful to me.

i sent a request last month for a job. my financial and career situation has been so stressful and depressing. the lord answered my prayers and provided me a job with a wonderful company and great money! only to find out that the job was not what was promised and i felt horribly oppressed. needless to say we decided it wasn't a good match and i left 3 weeks later.

now i am back to square one. i have to trust the lord. i tithed with the money i recieved with the job he provided and thanked him for the opportunity. i am really having difficulty with this- the struggling with finances and lack of a steady job is taking a toll on me. i can barely pay rent. i don't understand why god wants me living hand-to-mouth?! i ask for answers and i just can't see any right now.

can you pray that the lord will show me where i should look for a career? i want his will done in my life. i just don't know what i'm doing wrong.

i just want to say thank you to all my brothers and sisters in christ for their prayers about my interview.

the lord works so swiftly and does not waste time carrying out his plan. i did not get the job i was so worried about. they told me right then and there. i was so distraught and confused. i actually was angry with god. i couldn't understand why or what was going on. i prayed for his peace and for him to open my eyes to what he wanted...then yesterday! oh, yesterday! i felt lead to call a company to see if i could work part-time and they asked me to come in ASAP. within less than 24 hours, this company hired me for an upper management position, higher pay than i could ever imagine, and a wonderful tailor-made career for me!
it has all happened so quickly, but it is all my lord jesus at work! praise him!!!

i can't express to you how i have seen my jesus through this despondant job search. my life has been turned upside down...but i see him clearly now. thank you for your prayers. :)

Lord, I bring Sussan to you and pray Father that you would be with her in that interview. Calm her nerves Lord, and give her your wisdom and discernment that she needs to answer questions honestly and favourably. Lord, ifit be your will for her to have this job, I pray that you open the door, and she finds favour with her intervewers. In Jesus Name. Amen

I lift up Susan to You and I ask that You grant her special favour during this interview. If this is the job for her, You open doors for her in every area. I commit this interview into Your hands.
