a request was made to me from a good friend and family member. Gerald Miller has recently lost his twin brother to a car accident last saturday.although they both are christians,and well on the way to freedom,Gerald describes it as a major loss,like someone "took his shoes and still left the mountains to climb".being a twin myself i fully understand how he feels.but only our Lord can make all of you feel the pain. this request is also for me,after my friend "flapp" lost his mother,it seems to get difficult to look at these troubles from God's point of view.

Father, I thank You for Gerald, that You will make Him stronger in You. You will comfort Him and let Him know that He will not climb the mountains alone, but that You will be with him in both his mountain experiences and his valley experience, which he is facing now. Jesus, I pray that you will become the lily in his valley and cause Gerald to have the sweetest encounter with You through this experience of loss. Lord, I still believe that whatever we have lost, You will restore manifold. Even though sometimes we do not know how or why, but we hold on to Your promises in our lives. Jesus, You did not waver in Your trials and You did not give up on us. Lord, let us learn to hold on to You and not to give up when the storms come. Thank You Lord. In Jesus' name, amen
