(02/06/2000) Making ourselves right before God

Hello prayer partners

1. Prayer note: making ourself right before God

You know that many times, we feel a burden in our
heart for others and we often come to God in prayer
and the first thing we do is lift up so and so and so
and so. We might forget to come to God and lift up
ourselves and say, God ... forgive me for this and
this and this is what I need.

I think it's a good idea to lift ourselves up first,
just like what God commanded Aaron to do in [Leviticus 16:6]

And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering,
which is for himself, and make an atonement for
himself, and for his house.

He asked Aaron to lift up his own sin offering first,
for him and his household before he lifted the
sacrifices for the congregation.

2. New Prayer Request
sandy posted a prayer for Keith. Keith's physical
condition has been improving, she said that he can
even eat properly now and he looks better, he's even
gaining weight. :) However, she wants us to lift up
Keith's family relationships. Keith's father is at a
distance and his twin brother has not been talking to
him.

david, the doctors do not have the last word. Jesus is
the alpha and the omega, the first word and the last
word. Even after the surgery, if they want to pray for
healing, continue to lift them up and to believe.
