Hello prayer warriors, 1. Prayer note: Remember the good things [Deuteronomy 16:1] Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the Lord thy God: for in the month of Abib the Lord thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. Sometimes we forget to look at the blessings of God in our lives. Not only do we forget the blessings, we remember the wrong things. We look back at our Egypt, at our past or at our land of bondage, and sometimes yearn for our past when God has asked us to move on to something better. We are many times the victim of our minds and what we replay. I've met strong men and women who could not get over their past and are still the victims of their past. The only thing that is limiting them are their minds. We cannot do anything to change our past but we can change our future. The first step is to stop replaying the negative and to think of the positive. Think and observe with a heart of thanksgiving how God has brought us this far out of our land of bondage. If our past do not make us stronger and richer in experience, then we have suffered in vain. The secret to happiness: [Philippians 4:8,9] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. 2. New prayer requests: i. Pray for deliverance from smoking -- guest My name is Candice, & I have been smoking for 10 years. I want to be free from this nicotine demon. I have accepted Jesus as my Personal Savior- I attend Church on a regular basis! I pray, I fast, & I read God's Word. Healing for my family -- eagleent My wife is suffering from OCD, anxiety disorder which prevents her from enjoying some of the luxuries we take for granted. Outside employment causes anxiety, stress & she really can't work at this time in her life. Pray specifically for her health & that God provides for us in the unspecified time of her unemployment. Also that God will make me a Godly man & spiritual leader by example in my home. For encouragement & direction -- rach4him20 I am need God's direction for the right job & for the right college that He wants me to go to. Physical healing for my stepmom -- crjstl My stepmother has been battling a kidney infection for six weeks & recently discovered she also has an infected cyst on one of her ovaries -- she may have to have the ovary removed. Jobs, jobs, jobs -- gmles Pray for my family: 1. JL's Workman's Compensation claim - please pray that the employer involved does what's necessary to get the claim processed. 2. JS needs to be offered a full time position at his place of employment. He has a family to support. 3. DL has a big job interview on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. DL is a hard working, generous person who deserves to be blessed. I have to give a praise report - the Lord has provided a new position for me. Pray for missing mother-in-law -- christiandeb Please pray urgently for my mother in law. Her name is Kathleen & she is 79 yrs old with a severe diabetic condition due to pancreatic cancer. She is living with my brother-in-law & his wife and she has just disappeared. Pray for her salvation & safety & quick recovery.
