        (09/09/2000) keeping the vision alive

Hello prayer warriors,

1. Prayer note: keeping the vision alive

We have been talking about understanding suffering,
enduring suffering and knowing that God if faithful to
us. Sometimes we understand this and in our spirit or
through prophecies, we know God's plan for us, but it
is difficult to keep our faith in the midst of our
circumstances and we start letting doubt creep in that
God's plan for us is not for good but for evil. I just
read an insight posted by one of our members, ladyrev
(Cynthia J. Jones) on our web-site and I'd like to
share her insight on this:

[Habakkuk 2:2-3]
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the
vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run
that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at
the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry,
wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not
tarry.

When the Lord gives you a vision .. it is the perfect
plan .. We must keep the vision alive by keeping it
before our eyes at all times, not allowing doubt to
set it's foot in the door of our heart. If God has
shown you what He has planned for you, yet it is not
for this hour (see vs 3), then , write it down on the
tablet of your heart and don't let it go. Don't let
the devil steal it from you. IF you keep the vision
alive ... it will manifest results at the time
assigned for it's fulfillment. It is only when we let
go .. that the vision can fail. According to verse 3
.. it will tarry .. so there will be test during this
time of waiting. It is in this time of waiting when
you will either let patience have it's perfect work

[James 1:4]
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be
perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

or you will let worry set in and steal the joy that
should be yours , even while the vision is not yet on
hand. We need to learn to rest in the Lord and let Him
work out things in His time ... we only need to be
willing to do whatever He ask of us and the rest will
work out alright.

iii. Healing -- toya
Please pray for my teenage daughter who has just had a
miscarrige. She is so rebellious & angry right now.
She said that she hate me & she is very mean to me &
her younger sister. She is only fifteen & I think that
she had no intention of going to school because she
was pregnant & now that she has lost the baby she is
in total shock. The world just looks different to her
right now. She had stop going to church. Now she says
that there is no God. She is not speaking to me. She
is hostile & angry. Please pray that she receives
healing in her emotion & spiritual life. I am really
concern about her life but she has shut me out of her
life. So I pray that God would intervene right now.
Thank you for your prayers.

& hopeful in finding a new job. He is 58 years old &
recently changed his career outlook toward the

to get certified in selling investments, but he is
worried that the prospects are limited. We have been
praying & I know God will bless him with the perfect
job. Thank you.
