Hello prayer warriors, 1. Prayer note: strength to get wealth [Deuteronomy 8:18] But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. I heard a message by Pastor Joseph Prince about this strength to get wealth. The Hebrew word here for strength is "koach" which means strength, power, might. This word is also used in [2 Kings 19:3] And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth. How many of us are like this? God has given us a vision of our future and we have received that vision gladly but we give up half-way. It is just like a woman giving birth to a child but not having enough strength to bring it forth. We need to ask God for the strength for the breakthrough. We are not going to be farmers who give up on our harvest before harvest time. We have planted and we will toil until harvest time. How do we get this strength? The same word "koach" is found in [Isaiah 40:31] But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. We get this strength by waiting on God. It is He who gives us the strength to carry on and it is He who renews us so that we will mount up above the storm with wings as eagles. That is what eagles do. When faced with a storm, they do not flutter like a sparrow against the storm, but they fly above the storm and use the winds above the storm to soar even higher. If you are exhausted and feel like giving up, wait upon God to obtain this "koach" strength. Your breakthrough might just be around the corner if you do not give up. 2. New prayer requests: i. stolen children -- grammy my daughter & family have become victims of local DHS office & her abusive ex-husband. She took her 8 mo old baby to the er in dec for a bump & they accused her of abusing the child. They examined the other 3 children, found no abuse but removed the 3 yr-old anyway. Then the ex filed suit when my daughter's attny quit becos she had no more money & he managed to gain custody of the girls. He has been arrested 2 times for spousal abuse. God's direction in a relationship -- guest pray for me. That I may know God's will & direction in a relationship with a man, Fernando Roman, whom I love & care for. At the moment we are not speaking & I had been instructed through payer to forgive him. I am asking that God give me courage & strength that I may carry this out. pray that Fernando & I can work through these opportunities presented by God, that our relationship is transformed into a mutually loving, safe & strong relationship as friends & partners in love. If it is God's will I want to share my life as his wife & mother of his children. pray for both of us to heal from past hurts & wounds and to overcome our fear. I ask this in Jesus' name & thank you God. I pray for willingness, faith, surrender & to lift this relationship to God's loving hands. Millie Martinez iii. Teenage daughter Samantha -- verna My daughter is having problems dealing with being a teenager. Although she doesn't think so. She's constantly rebelling. She's not doing well in school nor at home. She's very excited about boys; & totally dealing with the issue in the wrong manner. She doesn't respond to me in a positive way at all. We used to have a very good relationship; now, it is terrible. I love her very much & don't want to see her ruin her life. Last week, she ran away becos she said I was too mean. Continue your prayer -- elvina She is just wrote to me & asked us to pray for her urgently. Tomorrow is crucial to her because she is afraid that without her cheques, she might end up in jail. She is very distressed. ii. Perfect prayer for my mom -- waihun My mom will be going for her radiotherapy treatment tomorrow. She will have to go for the therapy every weekday for one month.
