(07/26/2000) Breaking the bondage


Hello prayer warriors 1. Prayer note: breaking the bondage [Joel 2:26] And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. Joel spells out many of the blessings that God has promised us and yes, one of them is prosperity. [Joel 2:24] says "And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil." How do we experience this enduring prosperity? There are many spiritual laws that are found in the bible. One of the spiritual laws is the law of sowing and reaping. If we want healing, the bible tells us many times to sow faith. It is our faith that draws God's healing miracles and not our needs. What do we sow if we want enduring prosperity and for our lives to "overflow with wine and oil"? [Malachi 3:10-11] 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. We sow our finances back into God's kingdom. Not that God does not want us to look after our needs, our wants, or any charitable cause but God has commanded us to sow back 10% of everything we get back into His kingdom. Sowing our tithe will break whatever financial bondage that we are in because it is in God's Word. He says that He WILL rebuke the devourer for our sakes. This is the place where we start breaking the vicious cycle of lack. By making a commitment to God to give Him the firstfruits of our financial harvest and making Him Lord over our finances. 2. New prayer requests: i. Pray for mother Walden -- janeice I praise God and give him all Honor and Glory for this devotional prayer group and prayer warriors. I get much inspiration from the daily devotions and I lift each of you up in prayer for whatever your request is. The Lord asks us to make our requests know, but with prayer and supplications. Thank You Jesus for people in the end days that want to continue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and our Lord and Savior. I need prayer for my family. I have been instructed to release the reigns in my family that my husband can take his rightful place in the family. I have been obedient and I don't want to go back to Egypt. I want to remain obedient and I want to be used greatly by God. The series on how to be more sensitive what just what the Holy Spirit ordered. I had been praying and taking to my friend about that subject. I have another prayer request. My good and dear friend Zanetta Harper's Mother, Betty Walden, had a stroke and has multiple anorism. I don't know why I was unable to go to the hospital. I tried on several occasions & could not go. Whatever God allows, I know He will get the Glory. Pray for direction on financial problem -- jennifer Thank You everyone who has been praying for me. Well, I called the light company and set up a payment plan for my bill. My mom offered me a job working Sat and Sun which offers extra money. And I can take my son with me! When I get paid, I will have enough money left over to give my 10% to the church and my gift to a child I am sponsoring through World Vision. God provided a way only because I gave him my word to start giving my 10% to the Church. There no such thing as can't, won't or no, I don't have enough money. God deserves what is His.
