        (06/21/2000) rejected but accepted

Hello prayer warriors,

1. Prayer note: rejected but accepted

I heard a tape by Derek Prince on dealing with
rejection. He says that there are three things we have
to do to handle rejection.

i. Know that we are accepted in Him.
[Ephesians 1:5]
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he
hath made us accepted in the beloved.

We are accepted by God in Christ. God accepts us as we
are in Christ. We wear His righteousness like a robe
over us and when He sees us, He sees us as precious
and the apple of His eye.

ii. Accept ourselves
[1 John 3:20]
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our
heart, and knoweth all things.

Sometimes the problem is not that we cannot believe
that God has accepted us. But we cannot accept
ourselves. We blame ourselves for what has happened to
us. The good news is that God is greater than our
heart. He is able to deliver us from guilt and
condemnation if we let Him.

iii. Find our place in the family of God
[Romans 12:4-5]
For as we have many members in one body, and all
members have not the same office: So we, being many,
are one body in Christ, and every one members one of
another.

God has not meant for us to be alone. How can an ear
be without an eye? God has a place for us in His
family and there are things that He has called us to
do.

[Proverbs 11:25]
A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others
will himself be refreshed.

One of the best medicine for rejection is not to look
within ourselves but to reach out and touch others. I
find this so true. My life has been so much more
fulfilling when I find my place in the family of
Christ. If you are not already in a group or a church,
find one that is bible-believing, centered on Christ,
committed to each other and find your place in that
family.

ii. Pray for me -- iamajfreak
Please pray for me because very recently I have lost
my best friends. Ones that I love very much that you
would expect to never turn their back on you and then
do. I spent so much time with them just talking about
problems and having Bible studies. I know this now
gives me time to focus on God and I thank him for the
trials and test that he gives me but it is so hard
just to think about how much time we use to spend
together. I know I will be fine because Jesus is my
true best friend but right now it just makes me sick
to my stomach just to think about it. Just please pray
for strength and just that I live my life for him and
not worry about lifes strugles because he is always
there for me. I thank you for your prayers.

Can you please pray for me that God will give me clear
vision and direction in my life in every aspect of my
life. I am at a crossroad now. Pray that God will open
doors where He wants me to be and God will find me the
right business partners and prosper my business
ventures.
