(06/08/2000) the unpardonable sin


hello prayer warriors, 1. prayer note: the unpardonable sin [1 John 1:9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Is there an unpardonable sin? I used to think that there is two: i. those who blaspheme against the Holy Ghost [Mark 3:29] But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin." ii. those who have unforgiveness in their hearts [Mark 11:26] But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Then, I heard one of Joseph Prince's messages. He said that he thought he had committed one of the unpardonable sins. He was very against the charismatic movement and the pentecostals and he spoke against them. Then, when he himself became a pentecostal, he thought that God would never forgive him because he thought that he had blasphemed against the Holy Ghost. So, he decided to devote his life to save as many people as he can so that God will remember him when He sees the rest of them in heaven. Then, he had this revelation. Jesus spoke these before His ascension and before His work on the Cross. When Jesus went to the Cross, He died for ALL the sins of mankind. [John 3:17-18] 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. There is only one condemnation, for those who do not believe. We are all saved by simply believing and confessing with our mouths. We are saved by grace not by works. And if we confess our sins, He is just and faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. That was the main reason that He carried the Cross. Does that mean that we don't have to forgive? No, we forgive because we have been forgiven. And we know that God will forgive us when we confess our sins because He is faithful to us. And He is just. It has been a monster in my life for many years. I have gotten married (3 months ago), and this drastically changed the pornography that I have taken in (Praise God), but it seems as if this monster has begun to rear its ugly head in my life again.
