        (05/20/2000) right insight for healing

hello prayer warriors,

1. prayer note: right insight for healing

[Luke 22:19-20]
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake
it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which
is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This
cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed
for you.

We all know that there is power in the blood of the
Lamb because by it our sins are washed away and we are
accepted by God. Do we know also that there is power
in His body that was broken for us? Do you know what
that power is?

[1 Peter 2:24]
Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the
tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto
righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

His body was broken for our healing. With every
stripe, He has taken away and won the victory for our
healing and He has taken all the diseases away with
every stripe. Jesus did not die in vain and He has
conquered all, including our diseases.

My pastor told an interesting story about this 17 year
old girl who was suffering from tuberculosis many
years ago. She was sent home to die and many people
believe that God was trying to teach her something
through her illness. She too was preparing for her own
death when she read 1 Peter 2:24. Tears flowed from
her eyes until she read the second part of 1 Peter
2:24 "by whose stripes you were healed". The
revelation and insight hit her and she jumped for joy
and ran out and told her mom. They went to the
hospital and the doctors found out that she had two
brand new lungs and she was completely healed. All of
these by having the right insight. Let us have the
right insight and believe that it is the will of God
to heal us, and then stand on His Word and claim the
healing on the Cross. Receive it by faith and know
that Christ died to make us whole, not only
spiritually, emotionally but also physically.

2. New prayer request:
i. Pray for my aunt -- Jennifer
I just came back from the hospital where I went to see
my aunt. Her name is Alice Tamez. She works as a
housekeeper for a nursing home.
She is such a hard worker. While she was cleaning a
patients room one of the nursing home patients
attacked her. He beat her up and left her with a
swollen chest, which the doctors found out she has a
laceration in her lung. She cannot move and she is in
pain. Her whole chest and face are swollen. If the cut
heals in her lung then it will be fine, but if not
then the only thing left is surgery. Please pray that
she is healed. I love her so much and it hurts to see
my family in such pain.

3. Continue to pray for:
i. pray for healing -- tillyotoole
I have a boyfriend who is a quadraplegic. His name is
Dartanier Patton. He was injured in a diving accident.
He wasn't saved at the time, but now is. We are
believing the Lord for total and complete healing.
Please join us in praying for this. We stay in the
word and know that healing is always God's will. We
stand and hold fast to his promises. He has improved
slowly over time, but has a long way to go. He
receives therapy now but never did before. We know
that God is faithful.
Also, I am his sole provider and sometimes this gets
to be too much. He can't really do anything for
himself. I have to do a lot of physical lifting as
well as manage the household and tend to him . Please
pray for strength, mentally and physically for me. We
will endure until the end. In Christ, Missy Primeaux
