   Verse Questions:
        Leviticus 11:7

In this verse God is telling Moses and Aaron about the clean and unclean animals of which to sacrifice or eat and it says:the swine is unclean to you.Does that mean that we are not to eat pork?

Acts 10:9-16 should explain it.What goes INTO the body does not make you unclean, only what comes out of the mouth for it comes from the heart. Hope these have all helped. God bless

[Acts 10.9] this verse and following tells us we can now eat "unclean" animals... It tells us of the vision of one of the decipels that it is also now time to go to the Gentiles...

This is a great question that really shows the importance of looking at the Bible as a comprehensive or all-inclusive work. That's true, in the old-testament days, pork was a meat that was considered unclean and not to be eaten. But if you read any of the Gospels (Mathew, Mark Luke or John), Jesus, really the prize of the whole Bible, says (in so many words) "It's not what goes in your mouth that makes you unclean but what comes out of it." The bible really shows that all of humanity has made many blunders in terms of our theology, religion, beliefs, and practices. It's not until Jesus comes into our world, to dwell with his creation in the form of a human, that we see that the only true theology, religion, or practice, is that which is completely and purely centered on Christ. The savior of the world for everyone of us. And all of us are sinners. And all of us need a savior. And how badly Christ wants us all to come back to him. He'd rather die for us to spend eternity with us than to not and and spend eternity without us. If that's not awesome, I don't know what is.
