Then, That passage doesn't say Close Family. One has to remember that in those days, everyone was actually related any way. The population of the earth at that time was all from one family, just that some were idolators and some were not. I would have rathered that My own family be with their own kind than to be involved with sinners such as those. God always has a reason for everythiing and we must not question since he knows whats best for all.
