 Verse Questions:Revelation 22:15

| Who are these people outside the gates if in Ch 21 V 8 they were cast into the lake of fire? Are these in 22/15 unbelievers or are they believers who backslid and never rededicated themselves or what? This one has always confused me. | |

This is seen as a conclusion. The timeline of the prophecy ends in [Revelation 22:5] when the text says "they shall reign forever and ever". The final 16 verses are the conclusion to the book that state a few things. These things will surely come about. If you believe in Christ, you will be blessed to enter into His kingdom while the rest will not. A warning not to add or delete anything from scripture and another reassurance that He will return. This is just a picture of who will be in and who will not. |
