   Verse Questions:
        Romans 1:18

I am currently studying this section of Romans and am stuck on a question. What KIND of Truth has God revealed to all mankind?

I agree that Jesus is the only truth that you need to get to heave. Thankyou very much for your answer. However, read Verse 19 and 20. The study I am following has asked the question that is at the top of this string, This would indicate that God can revealed more that one truth. Could it be the truth of His actions? or the truth from his works of creation? Paul is writing to the Roman church.....

19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

...Jesus does fit the profile but I am still not sure that He is the evidence that has been clearly seen. Paul is talking about God the Father here.

Thank again for response, I look forward to more..

God has revieled the truth to all mankind, but not all mankind has recieved or accepted the truth. What I have understood the meaning of truth to be is Jesus christ. If you have received the truth or know the truth you understand that he died on the cross for your sins and that all you need to do is put your trust in him and you shall have eternal life. And also that christ is the only thing you need to get to heven nothing else. That is the truth. See St. John 14:6 "I am the way, the TRUTH and the life:" If you have any questions e-mail me Chutas@uakron.edu
