My boyfriend and I have an agreement not to go to bed angry. I'm reminded of this when I read this verse because no matter how bad things are one day, the next day shall begin with joy. If we go to bed angry or upset, we do not allow for what comes naturally - we ruin God's daily gift to us.

We are blessed to be children of God because gives us so much goodness. Even in times of discipline, God's anger does not endure forever, the way his love does. He chooses to remember our sins no more and frees us from being slaves of sin when we pray and ask him to free us.
